SUMMARY:Flotilla to Thunderbolt Marine & Tubby's Tank House
DESCRIPTION:NOTE:  All boat trips are weather dependent.  Boat captains will determine if the trip can occur based on current weather conditions and the safety of all passengers. \nTake a unique behind-the-scenes tour of Thunderbolt Marine\, a full service yacht repair and refit facility located on the Wilmington River just outside Savannah\, GA.  Marine staff will highlight the facility’s capabilities for high-quality maintenance and repair work on all sizes of boats and sailboats\, including mega yachts. \n \nWe will depart Landings Harbor Marina at 12:00 PM via flotilla (please arrive by 11:45 AM) and head north\, cruising along the Intracoastal Waterway as we approach Thunderbolt.  Once there\, we will dock at Safe Harbor Bahia Bleu Marina and walk to Tubby’s Tank House\, a timeless local eatery overlooking the Wilmington River\, for lunch. \nAfter lunch\, we will take a short walk from Tubby’s to Thunderbolt Marine\, where we will get a guided tour of the facility and learn how they service and retrofit yachts of all sizes for their clients.  The tour starts at 2:00 PM and is estimated to be about 1.5 hours.  Afterwards\, we will walk back to Safe Harbor Bahia Bleu Marina for our return trip to Landings Harbor Marina.  We anticipate an arrival time of 4:00 PM. \nNote:  This trip requires walking to and from Tubby’s Tank House\, which is about 10 to 15 minutes each way.  It also requires walking with a guide for approximately 1.5 hours as we tour the facility.  Please wear comfortable shoes. \nWe have secured three (3) boats for this trip and can accommodate a maximum of 24 members.  The cost is $15 per person to cover boat fuel and dock fees.   \nWe also have a preset lunch menu for Tubby’s with an all-inclusive price for each menu item (includes food\, drink\, tax\, gratuity).  This will be prepaid separately.  Please CLICK HERE FOR LUNCH MENU to view your choices.   \nTo reserve your spot for this event: \n\nUse the PayPal button below to purchase your boat ticket.  Your reservation is confirmed only after payment is received.\nReview the menu and select your lunch choice(s).\nWrite a check (payable to SIBC) for the total amount of your lunch choice(s).  Please identify the specific menu choice(s) you made.\nDeliver the check along with your lunch choices to the mail tube at 4 Top Gallant Circle.\n\nRSVP no later than 5/17/26.  PayPal Reminder:  On the credit/debit card payment page\, replace the default SIBC email with your personal email. \n\nIf you are unable to purchase a ticket due to a sellout\, please email Cheryl Walters (siboatingclub@gmail.com) to request to get on the waitlist.  Once on the waitlist\, you will be notified if a ticket becomes available. \nREFUNDS:  Anyone who purchases a ticket and then needs to cancel must do so by 5/17/26 in order to get a refund.  No refunds after 5/17/26.

DESCRIPTION:NOTE:  All boat trips are weather dependent.  Boat captains will determine if the trip can occur based on current weather conditions and the safety of all passengers. \nFor this water adventure\, we will meet at Landings Harbor Marina at 10:00 AM to board a small flotilla of boats for our leisurely cruise directly to Daufuskie Island\, SC.  Our route will include Tybee Cut and the Bull River.   \nAfter docking at Freeport Marina\, we’ll take a short walk for a casual lunch at Old Daufuskie Crab Company (known for their signature Gullah-style Daufuskie Deviled Crab™ by chef Ernestine Smith).  The restaurant opens at 11:30 AM so we plan to arrive around that time.  After lunch\, we will board our boats at 1:30 PM and then cruise back to Landings Harbor Marina for arrival at approximately 3:00 PM. \nWe have secured three (3) boats for this trip and can accommodate a maximum of 22 members.  The cost is $20 per person to cover boat fuel and docking fees. \nNOTE:  Your meal is a personal cost to be paid at the restaurant. \nPlease RSVP no later than 6/14/26 by using the PayPal button below to purchase your ticket.  Your reservation is confirmed only after payment is received.  Reminder:  On the credit/debit card payment page\, replace the default SIBC email with your personal email. \nSORRY\, THIS EVENT HAS SOLD OUT.  SEE BELOW FOR WAITLIST. \n \nIf you are unable to purchase a ticket due to a sellout\, please email Cheryl Walters (siboatingclub@gmail.com) to request to get on the waitlist.  Once on the waitlist\, you will be notified if a ticket becomes available. \nREFUNDS:  Anyone who purchases a ticket and then needs to cancel must do so by 6/14/26 in order to get a refund.  No refunds after 6/14/26.

DESCRIPTION:NOTE:  All boat trips are weather dependent.  Boat captains will determine if the trip can occur based on current weather conditions and the safety of all passengers. \nJoin us as we travel via flotilla from Landings Harbor Marina to The Wyld Dock Bar for a relaxing lunch amid beautiful low-country scenery.  One of Savannah’s favorite casual outdoor waterfront restaurants\, The Wyld specializes in local ingredients that are in tune with the gorgeous coastal setting the restaurant inhabits.   \nWe will depart from Landings Harbor Marina and then cruise to The Wyld.  After lunch\, we’ll take a leisurely cruise back from the Herb River to the Skidaway River down past the Isle of Hope to Butterbean Beach.  From there\, we’ll begin the journey back around Skidaway to return to Landings Harbor Marina. \n \nWe have secured three (3) boats for this trip and can accommodate a maximum of 22 members.  The cost is $15 per person to cover boat fuel.   \nNOTE:  Your meal is a personal cost to be paid at the restaurant.  The Wyld does not accept cash.  Be prepared to pay for your lunch with a card. \nMore details to come as we get closer to the event.
