SUMMARY:Flotilla to Old Daufuskie Crab Company for Lunch (Reschedule #2)
DESCRIPTION:NOTE:  All boat trips are weather dependent.  Boat captains will determine if the trip can occur based on current weather conditions and the safety of all passengers. \nFor this water adventure\, we will meet at Landings Harbor Marina at 9:45 AM to board a small flotilla of boats for our leisurely cruise directly to Daufuskie Island\, SC.  Our route will include Tybee Cut and the Bull River.   \nAfter docking at Freeport Marina\, we’ll take a short walk for a casual lunch at Old Daufuskie Crab Company (known for their signature Gullah-style Daufuskie Deviled Crab™ by chef Ernestine Smith).  The restaurant opens at 11:30 AM so we plan to arrive around that time.  After lunch\, we will board our boats at 1:30 PM and then cruise back to Landings Harbor Marina for arrival at approximately 3:00 PM. \nWe have secured three (3) boats for this trip and can accommodate a maximum of 24 members.  The cost is $20 per person to cover boat fuel and docking fees. \nNOTE:  Your meal is a personal cost to be paid at the restaurant. \nPlease RSVP no later than 10/11/26 by using the button below to purchase your ticket.  Your reservation is confirmed only after payment is received. \n[COMING SOON] \nIf you are unable to purchase a ticket due to a sellout\, please email Cheryl Walters (siboatingclub@gmail.com) to request to get on the waitlist.  Once on the waitlist\, you will be notified if a ticket becomes available. \nREFUND POLICY:\n \n\nAny member who purchases a ticket and then needs to cancel must do so by 10/11/26 in order to get a refund.  No refunds after 10/11/26.\nIf the captain cancels the cruise due to weather conditions or any other reason\, your money will be refunded to you.

DESCRIPTION:Calling all SIBC members!  It’s time for our annual Tall Tales event.  Join us on Friday\, October 23rd\, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM in the lookout tower near the docks at Delegal Creek Marina to hear some good ole tall tales (true or embellished). \nBe entertained by fellow SIBC members as they recount some of their more harrowing\, embarrassing\, and/or hilarious boating experiences they have encountered during their time on the water.  This is a fun gathering not to be missed.  There have been some amazing stories shared in the past! \nThis will be a Potluck Event.  If you plan to attend\, each household should bring ONE dish that serves 8 people as well as a serving utensil.  Your dish assignment is based on the first letter of your last name: \n\nA through F = Salad\nG through K = Dessert\nL through P = Hearty Appetizer\nQ through U = Vegetable Side Dish\nV through Z = Entree.\n\nSodas and water will be provided.  $2.00 cash donations for adult beverages.
