DESCRIPTION:Ahoy all you Salty Sailors and First Mates!  SIBC will be hosting its Annual Tall Tales Event on Friday\, September 12th\, from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at the Dockside Bar. \nCome hear tall tales (true or embellished) from some of SIBC’s Old Salts and First Mates.  Be entertained by fellow SIBC members as they recount some of the more harrowing boating experiences they have encountered during their time on the water.  This is a fun gathering not to be missed.  There have been some amazing stories shared in the past! \nFor this event\, we are asking members to bring a hearty appetizer  for all to share.  \nPlease RSVP by Thursday\, 9/11/25\, to hughandcharlene@gmail.com and include the following: \n\nNumber of people attending\nIf you have a tall tale you’d like to share (no more than 15 minutes)\nIf you’ll bring an appetizer.\n\nBeer\, wine\, sodas\, and water will be at the event.  As usual\, there will be a $2.00 donation for adult beverages. \nAnd…don’t forget to donate generously to the Tiny House Project.

SUMMARY:Flotilla to Fish Tales Restaurant for Lunch
DESCRIPTION:NOTE:  All boat trips are weather dependent.  Boat captains will determine if the trip can occur on the planned date based on current weather conditions and the safety of all passengers. \nJoin your fellow SIBC members as we boat over to Fish Tales at the Fort McAllister Marina in Richmond Hill\, GA\, for lunch.  Located on the Ogeechee River\, Fish Tales specializes in fresh seafood\, but also offers a variety of menu selections for all palates. \nWe will meet at Delegal Marina at 10:00AM to load the boats and then cruise to Fish Tales.  After a leisurely lunch\, we’ll return to Delegal Marina by 3:00PM. \nWe have secured 3 boats for this trip.  The maximum number of passengers for this event is 23 people.  The prepaid cost is $10 per person to cover boat fuel.   \nNOTE:  Your lunch is a personal cost to be paid at the restaurant. \nPlease RSVP no later than 9/17/25 by using the PayPal button below to purchase your ticket.  Your reservation is confirmed only after payment is received.  Reminder:  On the credit/debit card payment page\, replace the default SIBC email with your personal email. \n\nAnyone who purchases a ticket and then needs to cancel must do so by 9/17/25 in order to get a refund.  No refunds after 9/17/25. \nIf you are unable to purchase a ticket due to a sellout\, please email Hugh Upton (hughandcharlene@gmail.com) to get on the waitlist.  Once on the waitlist\, you will be notified if a ticket becomes available.
