DESCRIPTION:Are you ready to say good-bye to winter and celebrate the opening of the 2026 Boating Season at our first Dockside Bar Happy Hour?  Come celebrate the Vernal Equinox with other SIBC members as we honor a long-standing boaters tradition of burning our old winter socks\, lifting a glass to the end of winter\, and cheering to a new year of boating.   \nIt’s all happening on Friday\, March 20th\, 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Dockside Bar at Landings Harbor Marina.  \nThis will be a Potluck Event.  If you plan to attend\, each household should bring ONE dish that serves 8 people as well as a serving utensil.  Your dish assignment is based on the first letter of your last name: \n\nA through F = Entree\nG through K = Side Dish\nL through P = Dessert\nQ through U = Appetizer\nV through Z = Salad.\n\nSodas and water will be provided.  $2.00 cash donations for adult beverages.  In addition: \n\nDon’t forget to bring an old pair of winter socks to burn.\nIf you so desire\, bring a new unopened bag of white athletic socks to donate to the homeless.\nIf you have one\, please wear your name tag.

DESCRIPTION:NOTE:  All boat trips are weather dependent.  Boat captains will determine if the trip can occur based on current weather conditions and the safety of all passengers. \nEngage with a small group of your fellow SIBC members while exploring the beautiful waterways of our island paradise during the mid- to late-morning hours.  Relax as your captain navigates and you sip\, snack\, and socialize on this one-hour boat cruise.  What better way to spend an hour of your day? \nThis is a bring-your-own food and beverage event.  Please consider that the boat does not allow for large coolers or oversized backpacks due to limited space.   \nPlease arrive at the Delegal docks at least 15 minutes prior to departure.  Assemble at the top dock and wait to be instructed to go to the boat.  The boat will leave the dock promptly at 9:00 AM and will not wait for late arrivals. \nThe cost is $10 per person to cover boat fuel.  We can accommodate a maximum of 8 members.   \nREFUNDS:  There will be no refunds.  If you purchase a ticket and then have to cancel\, you are welcome to sell or offer your ticket to another member. \nReserve your seat by using the PayPal button below.  Your reservation is confirmed only after payment is received.  Reminder:  On the credit/debit card payment page\, replace the default SIBC email with your personal email.
