DESCRIPTION:Note the VENUE change for this Dockside Bar. \nJoin your fellow SIBC members for a Friday happy hour in the lookout tower near the docks at Delegal Creek Marina.  Meet new members\, renew old friendships\, and enjoy the sights and sounds of our beautiful low country sunset. \n \nIn addition\, we will have a special guest presentation from a member of the Savannah chapter of the U.S. Power Squadron. \nThis will be a Potluck Event.  If you plan to attend\, each household should bring ONE dish that serves 8 people as well as a serving utensil.  Your dish assignment is based on the first letter of your last name: \n\nA through F = TBD\nG through K = TBD\nL through P = TBD\nQ through U = TBD\nV through Z = TBD.\n\nSodas and water will be provided.  $2.00 cash donations for adult beverages.

SUMMARY:Flotilla to Thunderbolt Marine & Tubby's Tank House
DESCRIPTION:NOTE:  All boat trips are weather dependent.  Boat captains will determine if the trip can occur based on current weather conditions and the safety of all passengers. \nTake a unique behind-the-scenes tour of Thunderbolt Marine\, a full service yacht repair and refit facility located on the Wilmington River just outside Savannah\, GA.  Marine staff will highlight the facility’s capabilities for high-quality maintenance and repair work on all sizes of boats and sailboats\, including mega yachts. \n \nWe will depart Landings Harbor Marina via flotilla and head north\, cruising along the Intracoastal Waterway as we approach Thunderbolt.  Included in this adventure is lunch at Tubby’s Tank House\, a timeless local eatery overlooking the Wilmington River that is within walking distance of Thunderbolt Marine. \nWe have secured three (3) boats for this trip and can accommodate a maximum of xx members.  The cost is $15 per person to cover boat fuel.   \nNOTE:  Your meal is a personal cost to be paid at the restaurant. \nMore details to come as we get closer to the event.
