Meet at Landings Harbor at 8:30 AM to board a boat for travel directly to Daufuskie Island. Upon arrival at Daufuskie, we will be greeted by Sallie Ann Robinson and then get on her small air-conditioned passenger bus for an authentic and personalized three-hour Gullah tour (approximately 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM). During the tour, we will visit and learn about many historical Gullah landmarks as well as experience the natural beauty and peacefulness of Daufuskie. Feel free to bring snacks since we won’t eat lunch until after the tour is over.
For lunch, you have the option to eat at the Daufuskie Crab Company near the boat docks or bring your own lunch. After lunch, we will then board our boat and return back to Landings Harbor no later than 5:00 PM.
Due to bus size, there is 14-person limit for this trip. If we have enough interest, we will keep a wait list and schedule a second trip for those who could not get into this one.
