Ebenezer Creek Kayak Adventure

On April 4th, a few of SIBC more adventurous members went Kayaking on Ebenezer Creek.  The few hearty souls on the adventure were able to see the Ebenezer Creek historic ecosystem first hand.  Our members were able to kayak this scenic black water creek that flows through Effingham County and connects to the Savannah River at the Ebenezer Historic site. The guides showed our members the giant cypress and Tupelo trees that inhabit this area.  It was truly a unique experience.  Most important…No one was lost nor did any kayak sink.  A Good Time was had by all.  Following the event the group of adventurers enjoyed a lunch Ruby Tuesdays in Pooler.
